Sorry, John. I love you as a (barely) republican, but you just don't have what it takes to be president.

You're too liberal, too old (only Reagan had the presence to fool the geezer sensors. You... not so much), too stodgy, too temperamental, and frankly, too haggard looking to win the presidency. I know you really want it, and I know you think you can create buzz about yourself by filing early...

We can't afford another Bob Dole in 2008. Old Senators = No White House.
